Monday, April 29 - The Time Tunnel: Rendezvous with Yesterday


Congress has poured seven billion dollars into a large and deep hole in the ground - the home of Project TicToc and its revolutionary new technology, the Time Tunnel. A mechanism intended to access past and future, the tunnel is not quite ready despite a decade of work and all the billions. Senator Clark declares his intention to cut funding and abandon the project. Desperate scientist Tony Newman uses the apparatus to send himself through time to prove the concept. But the TicToc team cannot retrieve him, and so his mentor Doug Phillips goes back to help Tony out of the peril he has landed in: he has arrived on the RMS Titanic the day before she struck an iceberg and sank.

Sensing a scam, Jeff sends Laura, an actress, to pose as a widow and engage the Fosters. He and Jeannie arrive at the Fosters' home and believe, erroneously, that they have killed her. However, the brothers attempt to murder Jeannie and Jeff by propelling objects using electricity.

Wednesday, April 24 - Highway Patrol: Armored Car


Under the direction of Tiny Elton, Don Brueger and Rusty Schilling hijack an armored car and take it to a remote area with a $25,000 payroll AND guard Bill Franklin still in the back. Elton utilizes a ruse to get Bill's wife Lea into his car. He then drives to the armored car's location and threatens to kill her if Franklin does not come out with the money. Bill complies, but the three take the money and keep Lea hostage in an attempt to ensure their safe passage. When they find themselves trapped in their car at a Highway Patrol roadblock, Dan Mathews knows that Elton is capable of killing Lea whether or not the car is released, and he finds himself in one of the most intense confrontations of his career.

David Blair (Donald May), keeps the combination to a military safe in his wallet. He and Lynn (Shirley Knight) have fallen in love, in spite of his engagement to Rikki Whitman (Joanna Barnes). His wallet is stolen, but the cash returned to the guard gate. The next morning, the safe is missing $9,000. Rikki learns that he is confined to quarters pending the outcome of an investigation carried out by Tracy Steele. Rikki dumps David and pursues Tracy, who is not interested in her. Dan Holt (Wayne Heffley) is the one who took the wallet and robbed the safe. Once the money is recovered, Rikki attempts to reconnect with David, but he chooses to remain with Lynn.

Ray Danton plays an Army Staff Sergeant who has been called back from Europe to help the U. S. Treasury crack a counterfeiting case which has been plaguing them for 15 years. Danton had been permitted to join the Army as a condition of his parole, having been imprisoned for a minor offence when younger. He has done well in the army, been promoted, won a medal, was wounded, the whole lot. He is now offered the chance to have his "slate wiped clean" for his earlier crime by cooperating in solving the case. 

The head of the enquiry team in Washington is his own father! They are severely estranged and tensions run high between them. 

The reason why Danton is considered important is that he knew a member of the counterfeiting gang who was recently murdered. He is asked to call on that man's widow (played by Leigh Snowden) and see if he can glean any information on the gang.

Steve, the stage manager, has the Three Stooges helping him manage all the show girls. Fred Astaire and Nelson Eddy make appearances as famous Broadway personalities.

Private eyes Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk are gathering information to allow Fay Sorrensen to divorce her cheating husband but he murders her and makes it look like a heart attack. Marty is suspicious but is killed by a hit-and-run driver before he can prove that Sorrensen is a murderer.

His white-suited ghost gets Jeff to meet him at his grave in the cemetery and they expose the murderer between them. However, Marty has been out of his grave beyond the dawn and must wander the Earth as a ghost for the next century, though only Jeff can see him.

Saturday, April 6 - Highway Patrol: 2 Episodes


A thief named Wally steals expensive automobiles, then has one of his two female accomplices (Ann and Norma) forge registration certificates and sell the cars upstate in well-to-do suburbs before their status as stolen cars is widely known. Dan Mathews finds out about the scheme when Officer Dorsey brings in a car theft suspect named Joe Ramo. When Ramo actually turns out to be a victim, Dan and Officer Dorsey check out "cars for sale" ads in higher-income areas upstate. Posing as "Mr. Daniels", Dan answers an ad placed by Ann and is offered a near-new luxury sedan for $3,900. When her background story proves false, Dan and Officer Dorsey enlist the aid of the Lakewood National Bank to set a trap for the three thieves.


Haldor Mattern believes he is a famous concert violinist and is capable of being urbane and refined one moment and homicidal the next. When he escapes from Riverhead Hospital, Dan Mathews and his officers set up roadblocks and pursue all leads. Unsuspecting James Wilson offers Mattern a ride and is subsequently murdered. Mattern assumes Wilson's identity and gives a ride to occasional concert pianist Eileen Haley. When Wilson's body is found, Dan is able to surmise the direction in which Mattern is traveling. Mattern becomes highly upset when Eileen Haley looks at his hands and asks about the extent of his musical background. He stops the car abruptly and starts to slowly strangle her. Dan arrives in time to discern what is happening in the parked car and must use guile to try to prevent Mattern from committing a second murder.

Dr Corder believes that Eleanor has deep rooted issues. Before long Dr Corder has issues of his own. Eleanor claims that he attacked her and is suing him.

Now Dr Corder is fighting for his reputation. It seems Eleanor is hell bent on revenge, Dr Corder once treated her married lover, a music conductor and Dr Corder told him to break the affair.

Tom Lopaka signs on as a Hawaiian cowboy (paniola) to see what's going on. Local businessman Fred Noble (Mark Roberts) is married to Bart's former lover Emily (Joan Vohs). Because of the past relationship, Bart suspects Fred of the cattle theft, after Fred finds a set of altered bookkeeping records, and believes he's being framed. Tracy suspects that Fred and foreman Jose Kosster (H.M. Wynant) might be partners in the cattle thefts.

Tuesday, April 2 - Colonel March of Scotland Yard: 2 Episodes


Colonel March is back in Paris and enjoying the company of Inspector Goron of the Surete at a bar.

While having a glass of Carcazon which seems off to Goron. He discusses with the Colonel their differing methods of detection.

Goron prefers to use the heart. The Colonel uses his head and prefers logic.

When a customer called Phillipe in the bar dies. It turns out that he was poisoned and he was also a monk as well a connoisseur of Carcazon.

The culprit might be Francois who was with Phillipe. It turns out that Francois was also a monk who came to Paris and fell in love.

Now Francois has returned to his remote monastery and taken a vow of silence. A monastery that makes Carcazon.

Goron meanwhile suspects the singer in the bar, the one who seemed close to Francois.


A young man, Guy Wallingford, bursts into March's office and exclaims "They've stolen the monkey." Guy explains that he he had already talked to Inspector Ames and that Ames told him to go to March saying that March "handled the monkey business end of the profession." Guy is a brilliant but mentally unstable scientist who works at the lab of the eminent scientist, Sir George Watkins. Guy and two other researchers are doing cancer research using monkeys to test their theories. Guy insists one of the test monkeys has been substituted. Guy becomes increasingly distraught and when he later is found dead from gas, Ames readily believes it to have been suicide. There is a very clever solution to the mystery which March in his usual urbane manner sorts out.

Sunday, March 31 - The Champions: To Trap a Rat


Junkie Jane Purcell crashes her car after getting a fix, making her the twelfth drug addict in London to collapse in the wake of being fed a lethal new drug. Sharron poses as an addict and, having successfully tagged along with the recovered Jane, locates the main dealer, shadowing him to the zoo, where he meets up with a peanut seller. The drugs are actually hidden in the peanuts. Craig, realizing that this is the Mr. Big, gets to meet him but he is walking into a trap, involving a foreign embassy. As ever, a Champion must be rescued by colleagues.
