Gun moll Nan Taylor, caught after an otherwise successful bank robbery, falls for radio crusader David Slade and confides her guilt to him. Much to her surprise, he turns her in. As a "new fish" at San Quentin, Nan fits right in, but won't see Slade, who still loves her. Tuesday, June 10 - Forever Female

The reviews are in and a new play starring Beatrice Page and produced by Harry Phillips is a flop. Long divorced but still a team, they need a new project and meet playwright Stanley Krown, who has written one in which the lead roles are a mother and a 19-year-old daughter.
Beatrice wants to play the daughter. She can't pass for 19 but believes she can for 29, so wants the play rewritten. She also displays a romantic interest in Stanley.
A young actress first calling herself Sally Carver and then Peggy Pruitt wants an audition. Stanley has her do some typing on his rewrite, and a jealous Beatrice finds her an acting job out of town. Stanley's play previews in Washington, D.C., and flops. Sally, now calling herself Claudia Souvain, tries to persuade Stanley that the actress is too old for the role.
Seeing the play in a small town with Sally in the lead, now under her real name of Clara Mootz, convinces Stanley that she is right. Beatrice finally concedes that it's time for her to act her age. She agrees to take the mother's part, and on Broadway the play is a huge success.

Gordon, gets Terry to believe, he works for the M.O.D. and was sent to protect Dr. Jensen. He learns Jensen was kidnapped to get the codes he will send to an orbiting satellite. Terry is driven to the Powell farm but soon makes a break.

Psychic Robert Miles can communicate with the dead. He also has the ability to control the mind of his black cat and uses it to wreak vengeance on his enemies. A photographer who happens to be working for the local constables begins to notice cat scratches on some of the accident victims who are turning up. She pays a visit to Miles (kitty just happens to be present) and conveys her suspicions of the cat's involvement in some of the local deaths. Kitty doesn't like this at all, and it's his turn to control the mind of owner Miles to take his vengeance out.

The Victory Movement, led by Sir Arthur Vane, is a political organisation that has fascist policies such as keep Britain white. It is contesting the next election, which has caused violent protests. When a bomb is exploded outside Vane's apartment Gideon is in charge of the investigation. The obvious suspects are his political opponents. A young woman is a possible witness but she has to be found and convinced to say what she knows. Another bomb makes the case more urgent.

A dubious old friend of Jeff, Kevin O'Malley, suggests to the cash-strapped detective that they steal old bank notes being taken on a lorry to be incinerated. The money is stolen but neither Kevin nor Jeff have got it and Jeff gets arrested as the chief suspect. The actual thieves are two women who perform a stage act. They plan to fly the money out to France but Marty uses his skills to ensure that their plane lands exactly where the police are waiting to arrest them.

Law school student David Maldon is hired by a prominent law firm. At a birthday party for the senior partner, John Belney, his erratic behavior causes Belney's beautiful daughter, Mary, to accuse David of being drunk.
He is not. David suffers from a rare malady, "liquor recoil", causing him to become intoxicated at the mere taste of alcohol. He hallucinates during these episodes, and Mary, a psychoanalyst, is fascinated at the way David even imagines a talking dog.
City attorney Carl Bellcap is threatening a lawsuit against the firm over the eviction of a Chinese family from their apartment. David intervenes, saving the day, but firm partner Charles Parkford had been responsible for the eviction and is now livid. Parkford slips wine into David's soup, then enjoys watching the younger man make a public spectacle of himself.
At law school graduation, David surprises his colleagues by submitting his resignation, deciding to work instead for Bellcap and the city. Mary hates to see him leave the family firm, but respects David's values and has also fallen in love.
