The Carter brothers run a garage but mainly deal in stolen cars. A nosy neighbour, Tiny Bray, is determined to catch them doing something illegal in revenge for being falsely imprisoned. He contacts Gideon with news of some important evidence but is severely beaten and killed by Syd Carter before he has a chance to give the information. A young woman is a witness but is too afraid to give evidence. Gideon and Keen lay a clever trap for him and he is arrested.
