A man John Lexman is unjustly convicted of a homicide and goes to jail. The man responsible Ramon Karadis is murdered later in a room with no windows with a steel lined door which locks only from the inside.. Who killed him and how it was done is solved by Supt. Meredith and his junior officer Sgt. Anson.
