The Bride Walks Out (1936)
Carolyn (Barbara Stanwyck) reluctantly gives up her lucrative career as a fashion model to marry engineer Michael (Gene Raymond), but their marriage gets off to a rocky start thanks to Michael's bad temper and their increasingly dire financial straits. As she pines for her old job, wealthy alcoholic playboy Hugh (Robert Young) helps the newlyweds financially out of unrequited love for the beautiful Carolyn, creating an even deeper strain on the foundering marriage.
