Flash is a freshly-minted college graduate and aspiring news photographer..
He lucks into a job with a gruff editor and romances the society columnist, who helps him get a big scoop for a kindly old man who runs a rival publication.
A rotten racketeer gets hold of some of Flash's photos, then doctors them up into blackmail material. In the unlikely third act, there's a shooting, a kidnapping, a couple of car chases, and a stolen ambulance.
