Among the Missing (1934)
An old woman (Henrietta Crosman) leaves her nephew's home after a fight, and is reported missing by her family. Striking up a conversation with a charming young man (Richard Cromwell) in a park, she accepts a ride home with him and his friend (Arthur Hohl). Not realizing her new acquaintances are jewel thieves, she accepts a job as a cook for the men — who are really just using her as a front. The old lady is smarter than they give her credit for, and soon she’s figured out the whole scheme.
