A young gold digger is married to a mob boss. He gets killed in an attempt to take over his territory and she starts running. She gets off in a little Ohio town, meets a nice guy who sorts mail at the railroad station, and moves into a boarding house. Since she witnessed the shooting, the bad guys are after her. And she has no plan!
