Mind Your Own Business (1936)
A newspaper nature columnist is inspired by his wife to use wildlife critters to report city gossip. He soon becomes the toast of the town. But when she passes on scuttlebutt from her beauty salon and a politician is "rubbed out," the police and the culprits wonder how he knew in advance to report it. All mayhem breaks loose and the gangsters kidnap the couple. He leaves signs on the trail through the woods and gets one of his captors to go on a snipe hunt. Members of his alligator patrol scouts come to his rescue.
